Week 5: Nodes, Mathematical Concepts

In class, I showed you guys how to use nodes to represent the concept of infinity.

For homework, answer the following:


QUESTION: Give an example of a mathematical concept that could be demonstrated by Inkscape. Please be original – do not copy an example from class, or that has already been posted by your classmates on the blog.

    A Mathematical Concept on hot use th Lock Tool which lets you use PROPORTIONS on a the shape you have created. Peter Z.

    I showed the concept of the pythagorean theorem by drawing a flower and it's shadow. I measured the flower, the shadow's length, and the distance from the top of the flower the the end of the shadow. I also showed the formula a2+b2=c2 :)

    a mathematical concept i did on my project was pythagorean theorem showing the steps by steps to find c2 by using a triangle

    For an mathematical concept what I did on my project was the distant formula showing the step by step with the formula plugged in and everything.

    You cane move difffrent type of nodes and you can move objects and you can also move pths and things of that nature. You can also adds more nods.
