Week 5: Nodes, Mathematical Concepts

In class, I showed you guys how to use nodes to represent the concept of infinity.

For homework, answer the following:


QUESTION: Give an example of a mathematical concept that could be demonstrated by Inkscape. Please be original – do not copy an example from class, or that has already been posted by your classmates on the blog.

  7. I showed the concept of the pythagorean theorem by drawing a flower and it's shadow. I measured the flower, the shadow's length, and the distance from the top of the flower the the end of the shadow. I also showed the formula a2+b2=c2 :)
