Classwork: Do Now 4/2/2012

It's been a while since we reviewed Inkscape tools and had a legit tutorial. With spring break coming up, it will be even longer before we really delve back into the finer techniques of vector graphics.

To make this stuff stick in our brains, let's review!

In the comments, please leave a message that briefly describes a tool you have learned about. Don't be too brief. Use my example as a model.

Example: To scroll around on the canvas, you can use the scroll bars (obviously!), but also the CTRL+arrow shortcut, which is sometimes quicker and easier. Just hold CTRL and press the arrows in the direction you want to move the canvas!

  5. One tool is the path tool. To use this you must select a shape and click on the tool. This tool will conert the shape into a path. Once you conert it into a path, you can move the nodes and have fun! :)

  12. One tool that i have learned about is the copy and paste tool. A more confusing way to use this tool is right click what you want to copy. Then, you can move your mouse to where you want to paste it. Finally, right click and push paste. Amazing!
